ABOUT NUREZALI OSMAN

Nurezali is the Head of eCommerce Adoption under Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC). His main responsibility is to lead and formulate short and long-term plans for the overall eCommerce adoption across industry verticals including youths, micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs), rural communities and exporters. 

In his current role, he has been involved in numerous public and private initiatives addressing the value chain of eCommerce. Throughout his career, he has attempted to create powerful experiences for the local eCommerce ecosystem and to stay abreast with global trends via various initiatives. 

He is instrumental in strategizing of the overall development and implementation of the National eCommerce Strategic Roadmap (NESR) 1.0 (2016-2020) and 2.0 (2021-2024) to drive the whole Government Ministries towards a catalytic eCommerce growth for Malaysia. He also led the formulation of National eInvoicing Initiative to bring Malaysia to the next level of inter-operability of cross-border trade. Prior to that, he was a key personnel within the eCommerce industry development team to usher investment from local and foreign players to MSC Malaysia as well as assists local players to penetrate regional and global in cross-border trade.
